Underrated Manga

Hello everyone, Emma here!

I hope you all enjoyed my last blog post of my top 10 mangas and hope you gave some of them a try. Now im going to be talking about the mangas I think are underrated, keep in mind this is my opinion and it may not be the same as yours. We all know the top mangas out there and how can we not they are badass right? The mangas I'm going to be talking about today may not be well known by most but they are still awesome, but well its really hard for me not to like reading manga (lol) none the less I think these manga should be known some more. Now then shall we start, also there Isn't any specific order for them I like them all just the same, and think that they should be read by more people. Lets start with

Manga: Otomen
Author: Aya Kanno
Genres: Comedy, Romance, School Life, Shoujo, Slice of Life
Status: Complete
Anime: None but there is a TV Drama

Asuka Masamune is a guy who loves girly things; sewing, knitting, making cute stuffed animals and reading shojo comics in another word an Otomen. But in a world where boys are expected to act manly, Asuka must hide his beloved hobbies and play the part of a masculine jock instead. He is the number one in the country in kendo, he is good at judo, karate, acts as manly as possible and is consider to be a man among men in school. Ryo Miyakozuka, on the other hand, is a girl who can't sew or bake a cake to save her life. She is good at sports and like Asuka is good at martial arts, even though she is beautiful she is not girly at all. After a fateful meeting Asuka finds himself drawn to Ryo, but she likes only the manliest of men. Even though he is consider to be the man among men in school when ever he is near Ryo; Asuka just can't keep his manly mask on and slowly reveals his cute and girly side. Otomen is a really cute and funny manga, I couldn't stop laughing and in some parts I would even cry well not really just got a little teary eye, that would me more towards the end of the manga. I really enjoyed the story is was really nice and a change of pace from all the other mangas I'm reading, there also isn't that much romance in it. I know it sounds like it has a lot of it but not really it's a modern amount of it for the most part I found it to be more funny. If you are looking for something cute and funny then this manga won't let you down.

Even though he found something he wants to do and would be really good at Tesshou isn't one for studying much, but none the less he gives it his all and with some help of his perfect pitch he manages to pass the exam and becomes a veterinarian. What Tesshou lacks in intelligence he makes up with his passion, no matter how bad an animal maybe he always does his best to help it. Not only does he care so much for the animals but he also tries his best to help the animals owner as well. He is even willing to risk his life so long as the animal can live, his passion really is something. He is really straight forward and loves to help all animals, he vows to never let an animal die while in his care, as well as to not charge insane amount of money from the owners for the examinations of the animals. Natsume Takashi is just an ordinary kid, except he can see ayakashi, just like his grandmother Natsume Reiko could. Years after her death, Reiko's grandson Takashi has inherited this book and is the only one who can command them as well as set them free of their contract with Reiko; now a never-ending stream of ayakashi are coming after him. With the help of Madara aka "Nyanko-Sensei"; (who really just wants Takashi to die so he can have the book), they spend their days dissolving the contracts that bind the ayakashi as well as trying not to get killed.
